LANAP® (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) is a modern, FDA-cleared treatment for gum disease that uses a specialized laser to remove infected tissue and bacteria without cutting or sutures. It helps regenerate healthy gum and bone tissue while preserving your natural teeth.
The laser precisely targets diseased areas without harming healthy tissue. It eliminates bacteria deep below the gumline and stimulates the body’s natural healing response to regenerate supportive tissues around your teeth.
LANAP® is performed by trained and certified dental professionals who specialize in laser periodontal therapy. At our office, only experienced doctors with advanced training in LANAP® handle your care.
Most LANAP® treatments can be completed in just one or two sessions, depending on the severity of your condition. Each session typically lasts about two hours. Minimal follow-up visits are needed compared to traditional gum surgery.
Recovery is usually quick and comfortable. Most patients return to normal activities within 24 hours, with far less pain, swelling, and bleeding than traditional surgery. The laser also promotes faster tissue healing and regeneration.
LANAP® offers a proven, minimally invasive way to treat gum disease, save your natural teeth, and restore your oral health—with little to no downtime. From your personalized consultation to expert-guided care, our team is trained, prepared, and genuinely committed to helping you achieve lasting results. We’ve made the process comfortable, convenient, and designed around you.
