A board-certified periodontist and expert in implantology, Dr. Peterson brings a wealth of experience in regenerative therapies, laser treatment (LANAP®), and cutting-edge digital implant workflows like X-NAV guided surgery.
After earning his dental and periodontal degrees from Oregon Health & Science University, he served as a clinical professor at Loma Linda University before returning to private practice. He now combines academic precision with a patient-first approach to care.
Dr. Peterson actively lectures nationwide and remains involved in leading dental organizations including AAP, AO, ICOI, ABOI/ID, and IALD. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, outdoor adventures, and spending time with his son, Luke—whose imaginative spirit ensures life is always full of laughter.
